Biochemistry and Immunology Platform
Equipped with 3 sets of Roche diagnostics fully automated biochemical immunization pipelines, including 5 units of pre-treatment and 41 units of analysis modules, with the scale of Roche pipeline ranking first in Asia. Sample pretreatment speed achieves 7,000 tubes/hour, biochemical testing speed 10,400 tests/hour, and immunity testing speed 4,420 tests/hour. Testing items cover conventional chemistry, endocrine, tumor markers, specific protein, infection class and more than 200 items.
The platform has achieved full process real-time and remote control, data bidirectional transmission, reporting intelligent audit and other functions. Participate in the Bio-Red global quality control plan; National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC, provincial and municipal inspection center external quality assessment, with excellent performance. Undertake group interlaboratory project comparison and evaluation, and make continual improvement in the technology and quality of the group laboratory biochemical immunization program.
Bone marrow / blood / humoral morphological and cytogenetic tests are carried out around the hematonosis and hereditary diseases.
The bone marrow room is led by Dr. Lu Xingguo, morphological expert and former chief of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, based on the "Four Slices Joint Inspection" method composed of peripheral blood smear, bone marrow smear, bone marrow imprint and bone marrow slice originated by Dr.Lu Xingguo, to carry out blood disease and other related item testing.
Flow Cytometry Platform
Equipped with a number of US BD FACS Calibur and FACS Canto II Flow Cytometry Analyzers, to make rapid and accurate detection of a number of cell characteristics with flow cytometry technique. The main test items include lymphocyte subsets, blocking antibodies, PNH, minimal residue and hematological disease tumor cell immunophenotypic detection, etc., to provide accurate and timely test report for the clinic.
Microbial Technology Platform
Equipped with bioMerieux (France) Automated Bacteria Identification and Drug Sensitivity Analyzer and Bact/ALERT 3D Automated Blood Culture System. Set up fungi, microaerophile, tubercle bacillus detection and a number of key discipline laboratories, with the main test items including general bacteria, microaerophile, anaerobe, fungi and other microbial culture identification and drug sensitivity tests, covering 98% of the clinical common pathogens to provide auxiliary diagnostic results for the clinic.
Molecular Diagnostic Platform
The molecular diagnostic platform is one of the first national gene testing clinical application demonstration centers, and the first tumor diagnosis and treatment project next generation sequencing technology clinical application pilot units.
The platform includes PCR, Sanger sequencing, pyrosequencing, next generation sequencing (NGS), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and other testing departments.
PCR room has: Cobas AmpliPrep/TaqMan Fully Automated Nucleic Acid Purification Instrument, Cobas 4800 Fully Automated HPV Detection System, Roche Light Cycler 480 Series Fluorescence Quantitative Detection System, Applied Biosystems 7500, Agilent Mx3000P Fluorescence Quantitative PCR System and other advanced detection systems.
Next generation sequencing room has two major sequencing systems of Illumina and Ion Torrent, as well as the Agilent 4200 and other quality control systems.
The fluorescence in situ hybridization room is equipped with Abbott StatSpin Abbott ThermoBrite In Situ Hybridization Instrument, U.S., Nikon NI-SS Fluorescence Microscope, Olympus BX-51 Fluorescence Microscope, Leica AI Cytovision Fluorescence Image Scanning System and other advanced equipment.
The platform also has the Sanger sequencing system and PyroMark Q96, Q24 pyrosequencing system.
The test range of the molecular diagnostic platform covers infectious diseases, pharmacogenomics, tumor, leukemia, noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and so on.
The molecular diagnostic platform conforms to the relevant technical specifications and requirements of National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC and ISO 15189 on the genetic testing, and refers to the relevant specifications of FDA and CLIA, U.S. etc., to achieve the combination of standardization, automation, high speed and precision through strict zoning and comprehensive quality control, and provide accurate molecular diagnostic testing services for the clinic.
Mass Spectrometry Platform
As the gold standard method for small molecule analysis in biological samples, mass spectrometry is an indispensable tool in the process of precision diagnosis. Mass spectrometry technology is the strategic direction of DIAN's key development. In recent years, we have strengthened the efforts to increase investment, focused on the introduction and training of a clinical mass spectrometry talent echelon led by the well-known mass spectrometry experts at home and abroad, including five MDs with working experience in North America. And the technical level of the team is in the leading position domestically.
Set mass spectrometry centers in Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, equipped with more 20 units of various models of high-grade, precision and advanced LC/MS/MS, GC-MS and ICP-MS equipment including SCIEX TQ6500+, TQ5500, API4000, API3200MD and ThermoQ-Exactive, providing clinical testing, judicial toxicology, CRO and metabolomics research services.
DIAN entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with METABOLON, the global leading metabolomics research service company, and set up METABOLON China authorized laboratory in Hangzhou mass spectrometry center, with the experimental methods in reference to US FDA, GLP, CLIA and other relevant norms. Achieve the combination of standardization, automation, high speed and precision through strict quality control, and provide the global top METABOLON metabolomics research services to the scientific research and medical institutions.
Pathological Diagnosis Platform
Established strategic cooperation relationship with Johns Hopkins University, U.S., Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and Hangzhou Medical College successively to carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in pathological technical communication, training, cooperative education, cooperative medical treatment and other fields.
The laboratory is equipped with Leica and Sakura automatic dehydrator, Sakura automatic dyeing and mounting machine, Thermo Scientific wax block marking machine, slide marking machine, Leica frozen microtome, Nikon multiviews microscope for 10 people, Roche automated immunohistochemical staining instrument, 3D digital scanner and remote pathological consultation system. The items carried out include: Pathology biopsy, bone marrow aspiration/percutaneous renal biopsy/liver biopsy, rapid frozen section examination, immunohistochemical staining, special staining, molecular pathological examination, remote pathological consultation, routine exfoliative cytology, aspiration cytology, thinprep cytologic test, CINtec PLUS p16/ki-67 immunocytochemical double staining, cell block, immunohistochemical and molecular pathological examination, etc.
The molecular pathological diagnostic platform has passed the ctDNA, T790M, EGFR, KRAS and BRAF gene mutation detection and HER2, ALK fluorescence in situ hybridization project external quality assessment organized by the Clinical Testing Center and Pathological Quality Control Evaluation Center (PQCC) of National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC. The platform provides more than 100 kinds of tests including solid tumor and blood tumor screening, companion diagnostics, prognosis, micro residual monitoring and other tests based on fluorescence in situ hybridization and pyrosequencing method.
